At Reparare Equine, we recognize that successful rehabilitation and performance recovery require a collaborative approach.

We are committed to working alongside veterinarians to support each horse’s return to optimal function and performance. Maintaining professional integrity and staying within our scope of practice is a core value of our program. We do not diagnose conditions or implement treatments that conflict with veterinary direction.

Our role is to support and enhance veterinary protocols through consistent, high-quality adjunctive care. Using tools such as Electro-Acuscope, Myopulse, and targeted soft tissue therapy, we help promote recovery, improve function, and assist in maintaining long-term soundness.

The Animal Calibrated Electro-Acuscope and Myopulse

The Electro-Acuscope

The Electro-Acuscope utilizes microcurrent designed to support normal cellular and physiological function. By interacting with tissue at a very low electrical level, it is used to assist the body’s inherent repair processes without overstimulating tissue.

This system is calibrated specifically for animal tissue, with programmed parameters based on established norms for animal tissue. This allows for more relevant feedback and output adjustments compared to generalized or human-based devices.

Unlike fixed-output modalities, the Electro-Acuscope utilizes a biofeedback system to adapt to tissue response in real time. It evaluates factors such as:

Electrical conductivity
Tissue resistance (ability to hold charge)
Impedance patterns

These inputs guide current delivery based on the individual horse and treatment area.

Clinically, this modality is incorporated to:

Support the bony and tissue repair processes
Assist in the management of inflammation
Promote normalization of neuromuscular function

The Electro-Myopulse

The Myopulse is used in conjunction with the Acuscope and delivers a distinct waveform directed toward the musculoskeletal system. Like the Acuscope, it utilizes an animal calibrated biofeedback system that will not overstimulate tissue.

It is typically applied following Acuscope treatment for:

Soft tissue injuries
Support local circulation
Address soft tissue restriction and tension
Assist in improving tissue mobility and function
